Social

Allostock Socials Committee
is responsible for the upkeep of the Village Hall which stands beside the bridle lane at the west end of Chapel Lane. As the only public hall in the Parish, it is the centre for many social activities – both public and private. Allostock Social Committee meet once a month in the Village Hall - usually at 7.30pm on the third Thursday of the month.

Our main aims are to:
• Provide a delightful, well managed central venue, the Village Hall which
can be used and enjoyed by members of the community
• Organise a variety of events which will attract the support of different
ages and raise money for the Hall’s upkeep
• Hire out the Village Hall for different events eg The New Evergreens
Group, Private Parties, Caravan rallies, Inter-Village Quiz etc.

The Social Committee consists of a small group of hard working volunteer members who raise money in a variety of ways throughout the year for the upkeep of the village hall and to provide a facility where people can enjoy themselves. We would really benefit from having additional members join us and bring in new ideas, so if it sounds like your sort of thing we would love to hear from you.
