Village Hall |
The Hall which stands beside the bridle lane at the west of Chapel Lane was built in 1957 and is registered as a charity. The income from Socials Committee events helps to meet the cost of maintaining the Hall. |
In 2007, Allostock Social Committee installed a new electric central heating system. The entrance hall and toilets are now heated, as well as the main hall and kitchen areas. £5000 of the money was from an E.ON UK grant, whilst the rest was raised by events organised by the Social Committee. |

Presently the Social Committee is in the process of applying for a second grant to replace the old and damaged ceiling. The new ceiling will help make the Village Hall look more attractive and give it better acoustics; new lighting will replace the current harsh florescent lighting. Fingers crossed ! |

The hall is ideal for every occasion and facilities include a new electric central heating system with conventional radiators; a superb maple dance floor, facilities for the disabled; a modern, well equipped kitchen; and ample, well illuminated parking. |
