Crime and Arrests for the Chester District
Week ending 7am. Monday 5th. November 2007.

I haven't got any words of wisdom or news this week. The briefing sheet shows more burglaries than usual but slightly less car crime, with police officers making over 90 arrests during the week. Crime reduction is always a juggle. We are very aware that as we make an impact on one type of crime another could increase. As we arrest one prolific offender another will crawl to the top of the heap. The one constant in this equation is you. As people work together, as a Home Watch, as a Pub Watch as an active community, they can influence whether or not they are the victims of a crime. Keep up the good work.
