Crime and Arrests for the Chester District
Week ending 7am. Monday 19th. November 2007.
The theft of lead remains a problem across the county. I've been sent a copy of an East Midlands poster (Borrowed and used by Hargrave and Huxley), that asks for people to look out for unusual activity at a church between 6pm and 8am and report it to the police. If you'd like me to Email a copy of the poster to you, let me know.
Last week we experienced some thefts of vehicles, from across the West of Cheshire. Thieves had targeted high value cars that had been left with the engines running, early in the morning, while the windscreens defrosted. In a brilliant crime reduction initiative we've managed to arrange milder weather, but it won't last !
