Churton Village Hall

Churton Village Hall is a well-used community asset. On Monday mornings, Monday evenings and Tuesday evenings there are keep fit classes. On Wednesday and Thursday nights, Farndon Brass Band uses it. Every other Monday afternoon, it is used for a parent and child club. Every 4th Monday evening it hosts a bingo session. We also host monthly whist drives. Churton Parish Council holds their meeting there. At week-ends it is available for hire for parties etc. Unfortunately we do not have a licence so cannot agree to events where alcohol is sold, unless you arrange a licence. The White Horse public house may be able to help in this respect. The fee is £5 an hour or £50 for a big party which requires clearing up the morning afterwards. Private parties must be pre-paid. The hall must be returned in the state in which it was found.

The Booking Secretary and Treasurer is Mr Gordon Forrest, phone 01829 270221, or at Plowley Bank, Pump Lane, Churton.

Other inquiries to The Clerk, Mr Charles Higgie, phone. 01948 86080810
