Charity Trusts

In its role of Trustees of Registered Charities, the Council manages three accounts on behalf of the Town (see links in right panel).

Each Trust is made up of all Town Councillors.

Following advice from the Charity Commission, the Trustees meetings became part of the Town Council meetings with effect from 23 November 2009. Special meetings may be called when deemed necessary.
