Gawsworth Parish Council is responsible for the following local facilities & services:

- Village Hall & car park, the Memorial Green and the site known as the Pleasance in Church Lane.

- Gawsworth Park and tennis court. Click here for information on how to book the tennis court.

- Bricked bus shelter (with internal light) at the crossroads.

- War Memorial, market / preaching cross & village pump / stone trough on the Memorial Green.

- Street Lighting x 3 (at Gawsworth crossroads, in Hillcrest Road and in Penningtons Lane).

- Public Seats (at various locations throughout the vilage).

- Litter Bins (at various locations in the Park, on the Village Hall car park and on the Pleasance Green).

- Notice Boards x 3 (at the Pleasance green, in Longbutts Lane and in Penningtons Lane).

- Maintenance of trees, hedges, shrub & grassed areas on land owned by the parish council.

- Maintenance of assets owned by the parish council apart from the Village Hall which is governed & maintained by its own committee.
