Village Rider Service

Many residents may not be aware of the Knutsford Village Rider service which is a service for resident of Knutsford and the surrounding rural areas – including Mobberley. The service is operated by Amber Cars and is mainly used for shopping trips and was set up using Department for Transport Start Up funding.  The shared taxi is booked in advance by ringing 01565 621222 and residents pay between £1.50 and £2 per trip.  This has proved to be a very useful service and the more residents use this facility, the more likely it is to continue.
