This is the website of Plumley with Toft and Bexton Parish Council, Knutsford, Cheshire. This Parish was formed as a result of the local government reorganisation of 1974 by merging Plumley with Toft and Bexton two small parishes on the outskirts of Knutsford. The total electorate is approximately 790 people comprising 54% female and 46% male. The larges percentage (85%) reside in Plumley. 16% are school age (including university/college), 61% of working age and 23% of retired age of which 12% are age 75 and over.
The Parish is situated at the extreme North West corner of Macclesfield District and is bisected by the M6. The total area covered is approximately 7 km by 3 km, giving a very low average population density.
The Parish is part of Macclesfield Borough Council and the nearest towns are Knutsford and Northwich.
